Training Levels

Ages 8-11 (Youth)

Between the ages of 8-11 youth athletes are the most trainable and most eager learn new techniques and forms.  It is our goal at Aspirations to ensure that each athlete develops and creates strong foundations, learns proper motor skills and we begin to teach them the techniques of speed development.   We place an emphasis on running technique, athletic coordination, balance and relative strength and the introduction of essential muscular movement patterns. All of which are vital in establishing a child's athletic foundation for improved performance, injury prevention, and long-term enjoyment of sports participation.

Ages 12-14 (Junior Varsity)

As athletes get older become more serious, they move beyond the basics of speed development. We begin to place focus on progressing and maintaining athletic movement, while refining the fundamental skills of speed, agility and power.  It is during this stage we add in weights and formal strength and power training.

Ages 15+ (Varsity)

Most of athletes in this age group have begun to develop physically and have a good sense of the fundamental skills of

speed, agility, and power.  We shift the focus of this program to fine tuning technique and working on the final pieces to build a total athlete.  Our varsity program puts emphasis on the repeated application of learned skills to create mastery of them. We provide endless combinations of athletic skill training so competing in the game is effortless. In addition, our program will focus on Strength and Power as we use methods of resistance, assistance and reaction to enhance every athletes overall experience.
