2019 DE expects an offer soon after camp performance Justin Rowland | Publisher
Stephen Herron, Jr., may only be a rising sophomore but he was one of the top linemen at Kentucky's Big Man Camp on Saturday.
He's not lacking for confidence, and that's for a good reason.

Herron is a Class of 2019 prospect but he held his own and even beat players much older than him in the one-on-ones in Lexington on Saturday. Cats Illustrated even watched him take his lone rep against 2017 Kentucky offensive tackle commitment Austin Dotson.
The rising sophomore told Cats Illustrated that he enjoyed the camp at UK.
"I felt like I went out there and showed what I was worth," Herron said. "Especially since I didn't lose a rep all day, even when it came to the UK commit, (who) I beat quite easily. I expect to get my offer in the days coming as a result of my performance today."
Confident?
You bet. But he wasn't stretching the truth. Herron's youth aside, he was a top performer.
And this is a rising sophomore who already has offers from Tennessee, Louisville and Indiana.
Herron had plenty of opportunities to interact with the UK coaching staff during the camp and outside of it on Saturday.
"It was just like talking (about) how they expect me to do well (at camp)," Herron said. "And then after the camp they said they'd love me to get down for a visit and games. But hopefully I can visit and come to games with an offer in my back pocket in the future."
So the ball's in UK's court after a strong camp performance from the 6-foot-4, 220-pound in-state prospect
